addiction!
Candace Canty, Owner and first Official Dog-a-holic, decided to name this enterprise "Dog-a-holics", since all modern-day dog enthusiasts are....dog-a-holics! Dog lovers can find cool, unique and fun products in a comfortable and entertaining atmosphere. We are sure you'll have fun shopping in our stores! |

Dog-a-holics: The Owner
Candace graduated from DePaul University in 2001. After working in corporate America for a short time, she decided it was time to take matters into her own hands and explore the world of self-employment. With an art background, Candace began painting murals for childrens rooms in Lincoln Park, but a chance meeting with a good friend in the dog industry changed the course of her career. Candace joined her friend at an all natural canine boutique. There she learned about the benefits and importance of giving canines the highest quality foods to encourage good health and life extension! Today her and her husband have two beautiful litter mates, they rescued from Chicago Canine Rescue. The shelter had already named them Guinness & Clover, so since her husband is from Ireland, Candace insisted it was a sign and they had to get both! |
